I wanted this to be a blog about all my running in 2011, but getting injured in January didn't do much for that. So, I'm going to track my progress for a half in January '12, and then a full in November of '12. Annnd, we're off!
Unfortunately, my running came to a screeching halt on January 16 when I messed up my hip running 6 miles. I haven't been able to do much in terms of exercise since then, and I am dying a little inside each day that I can't run.
I'm going to a sports medicine doctor on Wednesday, so hopefully I can start seeing a physical therapist or they can give me something that will just 'fix it'. One can only hope, right?
